Texture Capital in the News

Here at Texture Capital we have been working hard behind the scenes on building out our product, as well as having ongoing discussions with regulators. In the near future I look forward to sharing more news about these developments. In the meantime, however, I wanted to update everyone with some recent news:

Texture Capital Joins Chamber of Digital Commerce

Texture Capital is pleased to announce its membership of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, the world’s leading trade association representing the digital asset and blockchain industry. is important for us to engage with partners that can help us navigate this new frontier and amplify our voice in the market.

Texture Capital looks forward to working with the Chamber as we build out a technology-driven marketplace for institutions to more efficiently and directly participate in the private markets. We will leverage blockchain technology and smart contracts to bring proven market structure to private capital. Our business model provides increased liquidity, transparency and efficiency for institutional investors and issuers which, in turn, greatly improves capital formation for issuers and investment opportunities to institutions.

Texture Capital Participates in State Street Roundtable on Digital Assets

I recently participated in a roundtable discussion organized by State Street. We discussed a number of topics including:

The Greatest Opportunity for Digital Assets: I believe digital assets and blockchain technology give us the opportunity to completely reimagine market structure. Issuance, trading, settlement and clearing processes and technology have built up over decades or longer; by leveraging the functionality of blockchain we can move away from legacy systems and redesign our markets for the 21st century.

The Future of Tokenization: I was asked if I believed that every financial asset will be tokenized. I do. Blockchain is a superior technology and eventually will be adopted across all markets. However, I do not necessarily think that every non-financial asset will be tokenized, and within financial markets, certain assets will move faster than others. This is why Texture Capital is focusing on US private placements. This market is large and growing and ripe for disruption.
